We are infinite beings, energy in a physical body. Our true state is unconditional love. This is reported again and again in near death experiences, in QHHT (TM) - past life regressions and future life progressions, some meditations, and from blessed humans who have evolved with Christ Consciousness (and I am not referring to religion here).
When we accept this, and understand our love is limitless, we can stop holding onto our hearts so tightly.
Every one of us has infinite love within us. When we remember and allow ourselves to risk love, and its companions, kindness and compassion, regardless of the outcome, we untap that love.
For many healers, giving to others is easy.
But what about ourselves.
The more we give (our self)
the more we receive (from All that Is)
and the more we receive
the more we give.
It is an endless and ancient cycle of healing, and it always begins with us.
The biblical notion of how the ‘righteous is generous and gives’ (Psalm 37:21) is an important one, yet it is often skewed to only support giving from self to others. Again, when we are generous and kind to ourselves our love expands, and our energy rises.
Conversely, fearing pain, rejection, or judgment, and withholding the love that we are to ‘protect’ ourselves prevents this Divine channel from flowing freely.
It also blocks our growth.
Pain reveals where we are still nursing old wounds.
Notice it.
Notice the story that goes with it.
It is only a story.
Forgive every part of the story - theirs and yours; heal it; and let it go.
We will slip out of the physical and back to our infinite form to ponder why we forgot it at all.
Blessed be, beautiful souls
