Why would anyone want to listen to a woman talking about finding her way back from the grief of losing her beloved husband? Is that the only authority she has, or suffering she has experienced? People may think there are so many greater sufferings in our current world landscape.

And yet.

Meet Jennifer. An ancient soul in the body of a bright and joyful 60 something who knows life. The questions above are questions she raised when considering if others would be able to glean the degree of transformation she has experienced, the depths of suffering that sits in her backstory, and come to know that healing is always an option.

The answer to the first two is probably not. We really didn’t go into beginnings because the life she created with her husband was the reward and the joy that had been missing in earlier years. Yet her wisdom and advice are powerful, and we hope our conversation supports your path to healing if you are seeking it.

Trigger warning: this article raises the topic of sexual abuse. If you need support please contact your General Practitioner, mental health worker, or Lifeline on 13 11 14 (Australia) OR find support by country at www.helpguide.org.

Sexually abused from childhood, Jennifer has been no stranger to dangerous, manipulative relationships and warped beliefs, yet her willingness to create boundaries, go within and develop her understanding of herself has led her on an immense quest.

This interview focuses on her triumphs, the importance of finding the right healing within the theme of aquamarine; a water quest to remembering self-worth, gratitude, and the joy of living in the present.

Join us as Jennifer shares how she was drawn to an ocean holiday, spending 7 hours a day for 5 days on the open sea. For days she swam with migrating whales and played with their calves (while honoring their right to live untouched and uninterrupted*).

“We came across a massive male ‘singer’, 50mtrs below, and stayed with him for over half an hour.” Unedited image provided by Jennifer

“Underwater next to these giants and their calves was a spiritual experience that healed my grief and brought me so much joy.”

Jennifer and Jeffrey’s love, and shared love of water, lives on in Jennifer because it is celebrated through the daily acts of living. Her triumph is a triumph for all women, for all sufferers of abuse, and I hope you are as inspired by her wisdom as I am.

Thank you, Jennifer. Thank you for being in human form at this time. And thank you for the healing you have done not only for yourself, but for all of Mass Consciousness.
