Why do I always squirm when unconditional love for self is mentioned? It is a journey and process day to day and I thank you for today’s little reminder Michelle 🙏🏻🩵

Yes, it is a journey and process, indeed! I remind myself what is new must feel a little mis-aligned until we get good at it. I think of the squirm as encouragement to keep at it, gently. Truly there are many teachings about why it is not okay to love ourselves and fill our cup first. And what a great way to keep humanity slaving away... Thank you for sharing Jennifer xx

So much to ‘unlearn’ yet your advice to “keep at it, gently” is so encouraging.

I'm glad - I had my own moment last week where it all just felt a lot (underline and bold type). I think I needed the reminder too!

Being kind to myself is the best gift I've given. But it didn't come easy..

I love that you are being kind to you! I often wonder why we make it so hard for ourselves and then I remember we are undoing the work of many lifetimes / generations. Do you have a top tip for making the shift back to self? x

Forgiveness of self was the first step for me. Followed up by better valuing my self worth.

Beautiful. A colleague of mine says what do we have to forgive ourselves for if we are walking manifestations of our Divine life plan? I think perhaps I still need to forgive myself for doubting. Thank you for sharing - I love that you are valuing you more. x
