We live on a blue planet that circles around a ball of fire,

next to a moon that moves the sea and you don't believe in mirades?

Imagine the moon being destroyed and the catastrophic affect

My pressing issue is coming down to how as humans we seem to leave such an impact on our environment and we consider that it’s our collective right to encroach on other environments.

Do you think as we become older we are more aware?

I was just reading about how India landed on the moon section that has water ice deposits which would make it possible to live on the moon.

And this is where my mind went. We know that all natural systems are interconnected and when we disrupt one layer it affects all the other layers. For example when we remove one animal species it then affects all the other animals as that original species was a predator or the prey of another species. This disruption then continues to ripple.

What do we not yet understand about how those ice deposits on the moon affect our life here on Earth? Surely the interconnection we see between life on Earth extends to the galaxy as well. Do those deposits affect the tides of the oceans here? Or something even more pivotal?

And this is where I go back to my comment about current day colonization. It feels hopeful that the panel you saw mentioned speaking with Aboriginals because it seems First Nations people have a deeper understanding of interconnection that we could learn from. I hope that we can be very mindful of this if we’re going to be branching out to things like landing on the moon.

How could we use things like this as a way to deepen our connection with the universe and the galaxy rather than seeing it as something for us to possess?

I think it’s pretty arrogant to think that we could lay claim to the moon as ‘ours’. It feels like current day colonization. We’re finally starting to make some headway in realizing the errors of our treatment of the Earth and First Nations people and I’m hoping we can transfer that realization to this.

It concerns me when I hear people discussing beings from other planets as if we need to protect and defend ourselves. I’m really hoping we can look at these relationships as opportunities for new friends and learning ways we can work together for common good.

I loved your question about the brightest hearts. Thank you for that.

Also have you seen the movie Arrival? If you haven’t I really think you’d like it. ♥️

‘Owning’ space or the Divine Celestial moon! So contrary to our understanding that all are one. I will watch the movie as soon as I can- thanks for suggesting! 💛

The current approach 'we' have to the moon, is the same approach we've had in the past to all things new (lands, resources, weapons and technology). We must get there first before our competitors, so we can maintain superiority and control, otherwise someone else (e.g. Russia, China) might take over or receive the benefits and get in front. It is the same thing happening in the digital world with artificial intelligence which I believe is a great risk, greater than that we faced due to the nuclear arms race.

The benefits of having a moon base should be shared to all the peoples of earth, and this can only be done if we do not commercialise it, and the moon remains the domain of international cooperation. But, this will not happen. The same with the development of AI. We will continue to race to the end point no matter what the cost, just to make sure we remain superior.

My first thought was they will cause havoc on the moon for greediness just as ‘they’ have on earth.

Then I thought let them go and leave the organic people behind to return to the natural ways. This is my lifelong dream.

Much food for thought. My answer is without any psychoanalysis
