You Light up the World
Every time you do your spiritual work you contribute to dissolving the Illusion of Darkness and moving the collective into the truth of who we are, and what we are doing on Earth at this time.
Remember
The more we open ourselves to remembering who we are, the infinite and Divine energy that we are in a physical body, the more we create separation from the insatiable appetite of Ego.
This naturally leads us to joy.
To lightness of being.
And back to our gentle hearts.
Being Spiritual
Being spiritual does not rely on consumerism or trappings. Awareness of ourselves as spiritual beings begins and ends with love. Listening to inner selves, honouring our truth, and by being loving and compassionate to ourselves and others. This is truly the work.
When we walk the path to remembering, recovering who we are, we come to understand that Western-style consumerism is the toxin that feeds the Ego.
Some say many of the Egos in the world have mad, demanding more and more to satiate the fear that they, the human persona, are not enough. I think the Ego is lost. It covers its fear with the desire for more, provoking the need to construct external appearances and focus on ‘what others may think’.
Having stepped away from industry with strict dress codes and social circles filled with who drives what, it is easy to slip into the new code - wearing crystals, using essential oils, decorating space and dressing a certain way… This is not to say that spiritual people cannot be spiritual if they wear crystals or drive an expensive car, for example. All deserve abundance. Rather, it is about the web of unhealed beliefs and the insatiable voice of the Ego that pushes our external desires from fear rather than joy and gratitude.
The Forgotten Spirit
Occurring over many, many generations, much of humanity has turned away from maintaining their innate belief that they are enough as they are. It has been for the most part, a collective loss of the ‘spirit’ part of ‘mind-body-spirit’.
There is nothing to prove.
No acceptance required besides self-acceptance.
No need for immortalisation.
And there is nothing and no-one we can’t find compassion for, to love and accept when we remember that they are us and we are them*.
*AN ASIDE: The suffering we and others create is replicated across eons, and not only from lifetimes we have participated in. Reaching back to the atomic split that occurred at Earth’s inception and the creation of duality, we have continued to provoke suffering as part of our karmic encoding until we remember they are us and we are them.
And so, having descended under the veil and into the human form, we forget the infinite love we are. Our warped Ego would have us believe we are alone and inherently faulty; notions shaped by our families, experiences, culture, and immature logic. The more we fall into this entrapment, the greater the separation from our Soul and spiritual self becomes.
The Cycle of Entrapment
The separation from our spirit or Soul, has laid claim to much of the physical plane being weighed down by low vibrational, unhealed energies. This path has led Earth into dark places. Our Egoic self then feeds the fears of inadequacy with distractions to disguise the pain it has accepted. More problems and separation are created as we turn to these distractions in a variety of forms: drugs, food, depression, shopping, gambling, overworking, narcissism, power, self-criticism/abuse, and so on.
While these can be used as symptom soothers for a time, their longevity is limited and potential immensely destructive, not only for the individual but all of humanity and has created much damage to the heart and soul of Mother Earth herself.
Facing What We Have Created
At some point we must face the pain and acknowledge what we have created or contributed to: a world where we treat others badly, without respect for the unique soul we each are. Killings, abuse, media where individuals are idolised and / or publicly destroyed, where certain groups cannot feel safe - I’m stopping this litany here because it is just too sad.
Failure to look at ourselves, to see the cycle we have created and what we wish to deliberately create continues the pain and suffering, and to be honest, Earth cannot continue to bear the burden of our suffering.
And Returning to Joy
So, dear one, every time you connect with your joy, with who you truly are and set aside the shackles of old ways of suffering, you shed your burdens and release another layer from Mother Earth.
This path to self-awareness transforms our lives, returning us to our natural state of joy and creativity, and helps bring more balance to the world.
Finally, aligning with our true being brings the unconditional love and abundance we each seek. It does not require perfection, it simply requires us to be open to possibility.
It all begins with us.
Infinite love and blessings
