What the Moon (and Sun) See
Each have a role to play, holding space for humanity's learnings. Without judgment, yet not without consequence. Another invitation to be the change we seek.
The serene beauty of Mother Moon rising and the power of the orb of sunlight lifting from the horizon always create a sense of awe. Both timeless reminders of unending cycles of seasonal change, interwoven, separate yet united.

Each unique, but similar.
Through the Moon and Sun we see nature’s representations of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine in balance.
Regardless of the upheaval of trauma evident across the globe, Mother Nature continues on, observing the folly of humanity. I am shown repeatedly that Mother Earth is also sentient and allows this plane to be used for humanity’s learning. But our learning comes with consequence - action and reaction.
There is a fairytale entitled ‘What the Moon Saw’ from my childhood that captures the notion of Nature patiently and without judgment observing her children learning lessons in a woman resting by a lake, a farm setting, the Napoleon’s defeat, and so on. In this image, the pathos of the murdered child and his mother pointedly commentates on the suffering created by the illusion that we are separate, greater than, less than…
This belief that we are separate is not without consequence: our conviction that conflict is the answer is against our very nature. No amount of conflict will ever be Divinely sanctioned. How can it? We are all one energy, each fragments of the greater whole.
Yet no matter how much it is needed; change can only occur when we are ready.
Without minimizing the grief, challenges, and the fear trauma evokes, we are being invited to choose something better. As observers of conflict, we can become enmeshed in the ongoing energetic patterns of suffering, or we can choose to see chaos as an opportunity to release what no longer serves: beliefs, relationships, ideals, physical things, dramas, etc. This may seem simplistic, yet the greatest changes occur when we are at ‘rock bottom’. And for some, change only occurs at this deep point of discomfort.
Actions and reactions - cycles of trauma do not simply evaporate. We can expect Earth to heave and shift with the energetic burdens we have cast. And she can bear it but she will not hold it for us.
What happens when we acknowledge the Divine being each of us is, including the Earth Mother, and behave accordingly? Many centuries of conflict on, the time is coming for us to make a choice and to create change. For others, this time is already here.
Blessed be
