The Power of True Balance
Yin / Yang - this conventional symbol does not reflect balance. What if true balance means honoring every aspect of our being, beyond labels? Exploring what was and what might be.
Are you Remembering?
Equality and balance go hand-in-hand.
Equality is the remembering of our Divine balance.
This conventional Yin / Yang symbol does not reflect balance:
Rather, this is Yang operating with a minimum of Yin, and Yin operating with a minimum of Yang.
The Divine Masculine in true balance, simultaneously honours the masculine and feminine within and without.
The Divine Feminine in true balance, simultaneously honours the feminine and the masculine within and without.
The Duality of Yin and Yang
Traditionally, we are taught that Yin refers to the feminine moon as related to the Earth-
Passive: Yin is associated with receptivity and stillness.
Darkness: Symbolises night, shadows, and the hidden.
Cold: Represents coolness and lower energy.
Softness: Associated with gentleness, flexibility, and yielding.
Intuition: Relates to emotional and instinctive understanding.
Rest: Emphasises relaxation, contemplation, and sleep.
Wetness: Associated with moisture, fluidity, and nurturing.
Earth: Connects with grounding, stability, and nourishment.
And that the Yang, or masculine sun is aligned with the heavens, representing:
Active: Yang is characterised by energy, action, and assertiveness.
Light: Symbolises daytime, brightness, and clarity.
Heat: Represents warmth and higher energy.
Hardness: Associated with firmness, strength, and structure.
Logic: Relates to rational thought and analytical reasoning.
Activity: Emphasises movement, engagement, and action.
Dryness: Associated with aridity, clarity, and decisiveness.
Sky: Connects with expansiveness, openness, and creativity.
The unequal ‘balance’ of Yin and Yang is seen to influence health and order within an individual, society, and the entire universe.
The Quest for Balance
Yet, if we are all energy - and we are - our infinite being is without form or gender. As energetic beings we are Divine and complete, already existing where all answers are known.
How did we become ‘sucked in’ to this notion of holding separate ‘powers’? And how can anything that teaches us of separation be balanced?
I am shown that true balance looks like the symbol on the right, that we and All That Is, are relatively equal compositions of both.
An astute observer quickly pointed out the equalising of light and dark within its opposite creates the infinity symbol. And that makes a whole lot of sense for aren’t we infinity itself?
We are Already all we Need
If this is the case, then within the truly equal and balanced version of ourselves, we are relatively equal parts of masculine and feminine, having the qualities of each to draw on as needed.
We’ve certainly seen over the last century or so, the feminine swing from accepting masculine patriarchy to emulating it. So many men already out of balance, being joined by women who have moved from one end of the spectrum to the other, now also operating from masculine imbalance.
How might our world be different if we honoured both, regardless of our gender?
Can we gently observe that the ‘push-back’ from gender minorities may be no more than a wave of awakening? Perhaps the metaphysical goal is to point out how irrelevant our opinions about who should play which role actually is.
And perhaps the reminder is a realisation? Of course we can adopt different attributes, but what if we can offer whatever it is that is needed in the moment without labelling it one way or the other?
Compassionate yet forthright; guided action with flow; working with intuition and clarity; grounded yet expansive - imagine!

We are One
All are energy, and all energy is one, infinite and connected.
Each form contains non-gendered spirit.
Regardless of which of the colours we choose to pluck from the light spectrum (rainbow), how we choose to treat ourselves and others defines us as humans.
And how we treat ourselves and each other is an energetic force that continues on.
What Possibility does this Create for You?
So many things we think we need to do fall away when we decide to choose for ourselves, to let go of expectation, to choose an option that feels better.
Yes, it often means letting go of something else to give us space to hold something new.
And that is okay.
