Soul Contracts and Dream Insights
Finding peace in the Cosmos through our dreams. Join me as we explore dreamscape messages from our infinite knowing, guiding us to complete our agreed goals for this lifetime.
Soul Speak
Our soul is our eternal representation of self and speaks to us through our dreams. In the physical, the soul seeks to expand the terrains of spirit through experience as agreed in our Higher Self made contracts.
We spiral into the body, and we spiral out. For a brief time we, as immortal and eternal beings, are able to embody in the physical and work to achieve the goals of our Divine Blueprint or Soul contract.
In this way, as in all ways, we continue to manifest for All that Is. What we create belongs to All that Is, as do we.
To focus on our soul’s eternal path is to find inner peace and accept our rightful role within the cosmos.

Guided to Remember
In this way we come to recognise the illusion of discord in all forms and through duality we remember the infinite love we are and can once again choose to view all - especially ourselves- with compassion.
Our soul acts as the bridge between the physical and the spiritual, guiding us towards this remembering and inner peace. We can never be abandoned by our spirit self and this invites us to trust our ability to span all troubles, moving steadily towards our agreed goals for this lifetime.
“I love the silent hour of night, For blissful dreams may then arise, revealing to my charmed sight what may not bless my waking eyes.” Anne Brontë
Though we sleep our eyes are open and through our dreams our path is charted, encouraging us to take a leap with trust that all is working out as it must.
What are your Dreams Telling You?
As we become more adept in understanding our dreams, we deepen our awareness of our Divine wisdom. Regardless of how advanced we believe we may be in all things spiritual there is so much more awaiting us.
But What about Nightmares?
I’ll write more on this in another article because it is really another article in itself. Suffice to say, even our nightmares have meaning. Often, they are the most efficient way to remember unhealed past lives and resolve them.
Please do not fear untangling the meaning and get support from a spiritual healer if needed.
Do you Remember your Dreams?
Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don’t. When I do, I quickly write as much as I can remember into my journal.
Sometimes the meaning is crystal clear, and sometimes it is not.
When this happens, I take a breath and trust my intuition to guide me to the most salient parts of my dream.
This is how I gain meaning, and you may like to try it too:
I write down as much as I can recall as soon as possible after waking.
Then, I consciously relax, taking a deep breath before looking away from my page, and look back.
Without focusing on the writing or overthinking, I quickly highlight the first word or words that capture my attention.
Then repeat step 3 above until I feel ‘done’.
Now, I rewrite the highlighted words, grouping them together.
Usually, the meaning of the dream is now clear or clearer, as I recognise in the phrase an answer to something I have been working on.
If I still feel I need information, I turn to a dream dictionary - either in a book or online by Googling, ‘meaning of dream symbol [insert symbol here]’.
Sometimes the meaning becomes clearer when we take a broader view, reviewing a series of dreams.
Divine Messages and Preparing for Sleep
The idea that we can gain messages from our dreams is not new. This biblical passage from Job has been used by many spiritual leaders - ancient and modern, confirming it has long been regarded that our unlimited fragment of Source / Divine Intelligence / God-self speaks to us through our dreams.

For [God/Higher self/Source] speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instructions.
- Job 33:14-16
I love that even though we may miss many messages, our Soul or Higher Self doesn’t give up on us and will continue to offer us guidance - even in our sleep. It also calls to mind Wayne Dyer’s reminder that what we focus on before we sleep is what we ‘marinate in’ all night long: Filled with negativity, we shut down; focused on gratitude, we open.
Our goal is to align ourselves to receive our Divine guidance. Here are a few tips on how to prepare for our Soul’s instructions before we sleep:
Listen to Wayne Dyer’s ‘5 Minutes before you Fall Asleep’ meditation.
Hold gratitude - review your day looking for the blessings, rather than the hurts.
Set an intent - perhaps you have a question you are seeking guidance on.
Meditate.
Pray.
Keep a dream diary next to your bed - over time the meanings within dreams weave a greater picture.
Use a mantra to open yourself to the Night University of your Soul with the support of your Higher Self:
Awareness of the value of our dreams as a vital connection to our soul’s journey is a gift. Not only do we deepen our relationship with our inner guidance, but we also strengthen our courage to trust the unfolding of our experiences - Divinely guided.
Ultimately, by honoring our dreams and the insights they provide, we empower ourselves to fulfill our Divine Blueprint and contribute meaningfully to the tapestry of All that Is.
Blessed be
