Celebrate the growth you have already achieved. It is okay to rest and acknowledge just how far you have come.

The constant focus on healing and finding equilibrium in the roller coaster of seismic shifts we have experienced and continue to experience is at times demanding.

Yes, this is a time of healing and opportunity but we also need to remember to celebrate just how far we have come. To step into ourselves as human beings and celebrate our human-ness by focusing on the here and now.

If you were to create a reverse bucket list, and list all you have already achieved you would be surprised by your accomplishments!

When we have spent so much time noticing triggers, working through the wounds, healing, patching and repairing ourselves, we don’t tend to create much time to remember our achievements and find the joy.

Sometimes we have carried so much trauma, patterns of punishment, and suffering that we don’t even know where to begin. And that is okay.

To find joy, we need to let the spirit of love flow through us. One of the ways you can do this is to remember a wonderful time in the past, or imagine one if you can’t bring one to mind. Let the sights, smells, taste, and feeling of this experience fill you with joyous and wonderful feelings. Notice how tension melts and how your heart feels open as you bring to mind the love that is there. Now imagine gathering all the people you care about and surrounding them with the love that is in your heart.

This feeling is always available to you anytime you care to recall or imagine it.

The more love and joy we feel, the more we create and the more inner peace we bring.

Nothing negative will occur because you step out of healing to be joyful and loving, to be fully focused in the moment. In fact the reverse occurs - the more joy and love we experience, the easier we rise.

Rest into love, we deserve it.
