Layers of Reality
If you haven't already begun to explore other layers, the invitation awaits! An short introduction to Incarnated Elementals.
“All of us think, without the slightest doubt, that we are living in ‘true’ reality, while everyone else seems to be living in a kind of pathological mental delirium. This fosters neither communication nor understanding and mutural respect. Each of us functions in our own little world, our own little circuit, our own little tunnel of perception, understanding, and action, living our own terrestial life without being aware that there are other layers of reality just waiting to be explored.” ~Laurent Huguelit
Isn’t the possibility in this short passage delicious?!
If we can dream it we can bring it into existence. Consider what those before us have called to creation. It is no coincidence that some of our most treasured fables include stories of dragons, fairies, mer-people, elves, spirit animals, and such.
When we begin to explore the shamanic world we immediately come into contact with various realms.

Incarnated Elementals
One category includes the Elementals, the nature spirit energy I alluded to in The Tonic of Nature.
Non-incarnated energy can move in our physical world, grabbing our attention and offering guidance if we take time to connect or understand the messages. There is another category, however, that of Incarnated Elementals. These Elementals are spirit energy in a human body, whose focus is their passion for nature. They incorporate nature in their play, creativity and life work, whether paid or unpaid. Incarnated Elementals are in the physical to support the plant, mineral and animal kingdoms by teaching people the importance of protecting Earth and Her creatures.
The legend of the Green Man is an example of an Elemental, a protector, and surely a spirit-family member of those of us who love trees! There are many versions of the fabled Green Man which adorns churches and pubs predominantly in Europe but predominantly in the East Anglia region. Some suggest the images were a subversive act to acknowledge Pagan heritage despite Christian dominance. Whether this is correct of not, many agree that his deciduous foliage is a powerful representation of Christian / Pagan resurrection and rebirth, indicated by the branches coming out of his mouth, symbolising the ‘breath of life’.

We are reminded of the strength of trees and their ability to support us - literally the air we breathe, but also energetically. Step into their energy and feel the power of their connection reaching deeply into Mother Earth and up to the Heavens.
Some of us will feel this connection more strongly than others, and that is okay. There are many realms awaiting the mind that is open to possibility.
Traits of Incarnated Elementals
People who have a strong affinity for the outdoors.
Need fresh air and sunshine to be mentally well.
Can be found working as gardeners, in plant nurseries, forest rangers, etc

Did you identify with at least four of the above traits? Know that if reading about the Elementals triggered deep feelings within yourself or made your stomach ‘growl’, this may be a recognising of who you are.
There is much wisdom in the natural world and the realms beyond our awareness.
Blessings
