Ego or God-Self?
Who is speaking?
It’s all well and good to say ‘Listen to your Higher Self’ but how do we know what that voice sounds like?
God-Self
The God-Self/Higher Self/Voice of Source Energy or Divine Intelligence IS Unconditional love. It has unlimited compassion for your journey in the physical form and unfailing belief in you.
Its voice is kind, supportive and loving and it does not believe in fear.
Ego
The Ego/Conscious Mind is the manifestation of you as Divine energy in a physical body. It accumulates the learnings from the physical experience called this lifetime.
It is all things negative: the doubts, the whisper that we are not good enough, the worry of what others will think, the hand brake that stops our expansion.
It knows fear because it is of the Earth plane and sits under the veil of illusion that separates us in a physical body from All that Is. And it must. We need a persona to ‘play the game’: to participate, to act out our roles, to experience and contribute to energetic evolution.
The Over Soul
Part of the game is to remember these roles and choose the part we wish to listen to.
This requires us to remember ourselves as the Over Soul, the intermediary between Source and physical Ego, symbolised by the gap between the fingers of God and Adam in Michelangelo’s painting.

If you can notice your thoughts in a whirl, then you cannot also BE your thoughts. When we are ready, we can take control of where we choose to place our focus to create more of that.
