A Soul Masquerading in a Body
What does it mean to accept that our body is the lesser part of our selves? And how does understanding this aspect of the self change our perspective? A short reflection.
A reminder from one of my favourite authors, Annette Noontil, who wrote The Body is the Barometer of the Soul.
“Remember your thoughts have made the world what it is today. Do not be afraid of change. Trust yourself and acknowledge your divinity. Use your power to demand full potential from understanding who you are.
You have the choice to stand up and be counted, and speak what you know to help the ones who are still asleep to this awareness.
That can happen if we want it and will it and intend it to happen. Until we become our spiritual selves and live the love we are, the good things are always overshadowed by one little mishap.”
Wasn’t it the Cheshire Cat who told Alice In Wonderland, ‘We’re all mad.’? What if we are running around in an illusory race trying to ‘fit in’ with others’ and societys’ projected expectations for no real benefit? Isn’t that ‘madness’? Perhaps it’s time to embrace less of what the outer world presents and more of what really matters to our inner well-being and integrity.
What if Noontil’s Assertion is True?
What if true understanding of ourselves and the illusory world we live in relies on us remembering that we are a soul masquerading as a body?
A body we chose,
living for a time within the framework of a life we created,
sharing experiences with those we chose to collaborate with in the physical for many, many metaphysical reasons.
Something to Consider
How does this change our view of our experiences?
If we feel the truth in the above, how true then is the belief that life is ‘simply happening to us’? That we have no control over the ills, the conflicts, and the dramas?
How might our various thoughts contribute vibrationally to the whole, and what might they be creating?
How might the ‘mishaps’ be a distraction from remembering that All are One energy, each doing the best they can, with the information they have, completing metaphysical tasks in Divine right timing?
And what might it mean if metaphysically we co-created those ‘mishaps’ for our learning?
Rest in the knowledge that we can choose inner peace to create outer peace in Divine right timing.
All is well.
Blessings
